Media Organisations.

You are required to research three media regulatory bodies; Ofcom, ASA and BBFC.
Links to each can be accessed by clicking on the relevant logos below.
Identify one case that each has dealt with and produce a Power Point Presentation of between 8 and 12 slides. Write a paragraph about each case and include illustrations.
You need to note
  • Date.
  • Who was involved.
  • Why there were complaints or a debate about the text.
  • What was the outcome.

This will be presented to your teacher and other students and form part of your assessment for this term.

Ofcom (The Office of Communications) is the communications regulator. They regulate the TV and radio sectors, fixed line telecoms, mobiles, postal services, plus the airwaves over which wireless devices operate.
